She is such an elegant and expressive player. One of the most musical of the Great Guitarists. Her sound on the Hausers - all of them - is my idea of a beautiful classical guitar sound.

You're really a good player, but I also think that you're accenting this arpeggio in the wrong way. You're playing as it is a 3/4, accenting each couple of notes, while you should play triplets.

The thing about Ennio Morricone's Spaghetti Western music is that they're so minimalist yet convey so much. They capture the essence of the wind making music through the hanging empty bottles, taught wire fences and clashing wooden doors of an isolated and lazy desert outpost. Less is definitely more.

That's a wonderful rendition! Capturing the same joie de vivre as the original - though bloody harder to accomplish on guitar! I played an arrangement by Mary Criswick, (if I recall her name correctly). It's intricate on guitar but a joy to play.

I picked up Sagreras Book 6 at Tynemouth Flee Market in 2011 for a pound. The stall holder said 'Hah! Sagreras, the Paganini of South America!' I smiled and nodded and spent the rest of my allowance on a hamburger. 😅🍔🎸

Odd question... Do you know how come I often hear classical guitars as being out of tune? Also it's not so bad in this video, for some reason.

David my Segovia Sor studies book has the chords at bar 9 and 11 the same. But the fingering at bar 11 chord is at the 5 th position. You played the chords at bar 9 and 11 with the same fingerings. Why would Segovia switch to 5th position? Makes the piece difficult to execute with the jump to 5th position

My Segovia transcription has a repeat of the first part which you omit? My transcription does have a repeat of the second part which you include.

Hi there. Fascinating. Thank you. What you are saying suggests that the best solution might always be to employ the kinked-wrist position, rather than juggle backwards and forwards? Can you explain the advantages of ever using the straight arm and wrist position please? I was always taught to keep the hand angled down, possibly wrongly ... ugh
